Playing Media Files

Click on the play button to view the selected preview clip in the media player.

Downloading Files

Click on the button to download media files. You must be a registered member. Registration will give you access to download media from the Digital News Agency for copyright free usage.

The D-Roll files are large, up to 1GB in size, so please be aware of possible file storage and bandwidth issues. Download time will depend on your connection speed, for example downloading a 1GB file with a 2Mbps connection should take around 1 hour 10 minutes. Using a download manager will help manage large file downloads by giving the opportunity to pause and restart downloads, or resume broken downloads.

Embedding Web Videos in your own site

DNA Web Videos can be embedded in your own web site or blog. To embed the video just copy the code from the 'Embed' box below the video player (the embed code only appears for Web Videos). Just paste the code into your site and you're done! You must be registered to access the embed code.

Media Formats

The following file formats are available for download from the DNA:

  DV PAL - Editable video files. These files are encoded with Quicktime and have a .MOV extension.

  FLV - Flash video file.

  WMV - Windows media video file.

  MP3 - Audio file.

  DOC - MS Word document.

  PDF - Adobe PDF document.

  JPG - Image file.
