Kim Collins and Tyson Gay will be joined by a host of stars from the Aviva Great Britain and Northern Ireland team set to compete at the Spar European Team Championships in Stockholm, Sweden on 18-19 June, including Andy Turner, Perri Shakes-Drayton and team captain Dai Greene.

Also in competition this week from the squad are Tiffany Ofili-Porter, Daniel Talbot, Greg Rutherford, Jenny Meadows and Michael Bingham.
Collins will line up in the 200m against world and Olympic champion Usain Bolt in Oslo tomorrow, while Gay faces Jamaican Steve Mullings in New York on Saturday ahead of their double UK Samsung Diamond League dates at the Aviva Birmingham Grand Prix and the Aviva London Grand Prix.

Gay’s 100m head-to-head with Mullings holds extra significance after both athletes set 2011 world-leading times last Saturday – Mullings first in Eugene with 9.80secs, before Gay bettered it by one tenth of a second in a low-key event in Florida later that afternoon.
Back in Oslo, European and Commonwealth champion Turner will compete against Jamaican Dwight Thomas and American Aries Merritt in what promises to be a thrilling 110m hurdles competition.

Turner will be joined in Oslo by fellow Brits Meadows in the 800m, Rutherford in the long jump and McCourt in the 1500m. All are in great form, with Rutherford having just missed out on a new British record in Eugene on Saturday with a slightly wind assisted 8.32m.
Star 400m hurdler Greene faces a hard competition against former world champion Bershawn Jackson in New York on Saturday.
Greene has made an impressive start to the season having recorded a time of 48.24secs in Rome, in addition to his new personal best of 46.29secs he set in the 400m at the IAAF World Challenge in Rabat.

The Brits will be out in force in New York’s 100m hurdles competition, with World and European heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis lining up alongside compatriot Ofili-Porter as they return to action against American Lolo Jones.
Double World Indoor champion Jones will have revenge on the mind after being beaten by both Brits at the Aviva International Match in January, where Ennis stormed to victory over 60m in 7.97secs.

Rounding out the action in New York, Brit Bingham will compete in a thrilling 400m bout. The European silver medallist is in a field with three-time Olympic and five-time world champion Jeremy Wariner and South African Paralympic champion Oscar ‘Blade Runner’ Pistorius, while Hannah England lines up in the 1500m.

The Aviva Birmingham Grand Prix will be at the Alexander Stadium on 10 July. The Aviva UK Trials and Championships will be at Alexander Stadium 29-31 July.  The Aviva London Grand Prix will be at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre 5-6 August.
