It’s all smiles despite suffering the toughest training session of their lives, as five lucky lads get put through their paces by Olympic Champion Jessica Ennis.

Shop assistant Tim West, from Bedfordshire, treated four of his friends to the once in a lifetime training experience, after winning the opportunity to spend a day with Jess through Aviva’s ‘Back the Team’ campaign.

The 28 year old competition winner and friends enjoyed trackside tips from the Olympic legend at a private circuit session at Stockwood Park Athletics Track.

After an exhausting workout hosted by the golden girl of British athletics, the fortunate five admitted it may take a while to get their breath back before they could reflect on the experience.

Prior to taking to the track, Tim and Jess enjoyed tea and cakes with his parents at his family home in Luton.

This summer, Aviva and UKA encouraged the British public to ‘Back the Team’ – whether uploading their photo of support on the Aviva Athletics Facebook page or tweeting using #BackTheTeam. The competition offered all entrants the chance to win a day with Jess.
