Exclusive footage is available of Scottish golfing legend Colin Montgomerie – in his first interview since the Ryder Cup European team announcement at the weekend.
Speaking from a training session with the Scottish Amateur Team at Archerfield, Monty gives his thoughts on Faldo’s selection for the Ryder Cup squad, including the surprise inclusion of Ian Poulter over the widely-tipped Darren Clarke; and his thoughts on not making the team, for the first time since his debut in 1991.
The Scot, who never lost a singles match is all of his eight appearances, is adamant his Ryder Cup career is not over yet, and is expected to be European captain when the competition is at Gleneagles in 2014.
