Sophie Ellis-Bextor Launches the npower Greener Schools Programme

Wednesday 14th November 2007: Singer and mother Sophie Ellis-Bextor, alongside pupils from Thornhill Primary School in London, will be launching today the ‘npower Greener Schools Programme’ – a £20 million five year initiative designed to make UK schools more sustainable.

The Programme aims to give schools across the UK a ‘green makeover’ by providing free energy audits, implementing tailor-made energy efficiency measures to reduce their carbon footprint, and educating children on how to be greener.
